I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Patterson at Foote Hospital in Jackson Mi. I loved coming to work knowing that he would be there. He demanded perfection from his staff and was always willing to share his knowledge. He was fun to work with loved his candy bar after lunch. He was a true gem and we were lucky to have him. Our sympathies to Margaret, Anne, Katie and families. I am proud having worked under Fred's leadership at the Imaging department at then Foote Memorial Hospital, Jackson. The department more than doubled in size and quality. His influencer at state level trickled to the department. Fred was very friendly with collegues and subordinates. So sorry to hear the sad news about Dr. P. He was my boss for some of the best years of my working life. He was always fair and considerate. Deepest condolences to his family.
