Not sure what to say?

Dear Emma,

I was so very sorry to hear about Fred. The news of his home-going was a shock, to say the least. My heart aches for you and for your family. How thankful I am to the Lord for you and Fred for the tremendous impact you both had on the lives of so many Ukrainians. Your love for the Lord and for each other was a wonderful example to all of us. I thank the Lord for the privilege of having served on the same team with you - what a blessing.

Though we rejoice...

Dear Emma and Family-
I was so sorry to hear about Fred's death - I will pray for God to comfort and strengthen you. Fred was a blessing to me when I was in Ukraine a few years ago, and know that he really made a deep impact on the lives of Ukrainians and on the Church there.
In Christ, Esther Long

Dear Emma,
How our hearts ache and sing for joy all at the same time to know of Fred's homegoing. We smile through our tears, and send our love to you over the miles. We pray for the Spirit's close comfort and covering peace to be yours through the days ahead.
