Not sure what to say?

The staff at the Audiology and Speech Clinic at the VA hospital will miss serving this very kind and gentle man. Our condolences to Mrs. Perata and his family.

To Mrs. Perata and family: I feel so bad for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time! When I moved in to the neighborhood (just last year) he welcomed me with open arms. He helped me plant a garden! Fred was the "gardner" of the area. Who's going to help me this year with my garden? What a nice and wonderful man he was, always lending a helping hand. I will also truly miss him driving around in his old Chevy. He looked like he was so happy while...

Jean, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved father. You and your family have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

To Mrs. Perata & Family,
Mr. Perata was always friendly & took the time to say hello and talk to me. A friend of my dad & mom I will always remember his devotion and helping hand at St. Elizabeth. Our prayers are with your family at this time.

Mary and family,

Fred will surely be missed on our little Dartmouth St. We always felt better knowing that Fred was watching over things. I'll miss seeing him driving around in the little classic green Chevy. He (and you) were always good neighbors and Fred's great and true San Francisco spirit and his steady presence will not be forgotten. God bless you all.

Dear Mary and family,
I want to offer my sincere condolences to you all in these difficult times. It was an honor for me to have met and known Fred, such a wonderful man, even if it was only for a short time. May your cherished memories give you comfort and strength. I will keep you all in my prayers.

With much love,

Barbara Crescenti

Mary, I was saddened to see from the obituaries that your beloved Fred passed away. Thinking of you brought back many happy memories from years ago when you, Fred, Noel (who passed away in 1990) and I enjoyed many pleasant get-togethers. My sympathies are with you in your loss. Patricia O'Brien

Our deepest sympathy to Mary and all of the family. It was always a pleasure to see Fred's smiling face at the Perata Family Reunion. He will be greatly missed by all.
