Lolita and I were saddened upon receiving the news of Fred's death. We will always remeber Fred for the twinkle in his eyes and his impish sense of humor - he was always truly young at heart - Lolita and Mark Spiro

Thank you for your heart of gold, gentle touch, guiding hand and infinite wisdom. You will live on in our lifes through what you have taught us about life, love and happiness. The strenght of you faith will be a beacon in times of difficulty and a guiding light for the journey of life.

My Uncle Fred is missed by me daily. I have all wonderful memories of this loving caring man. I am very fortunate to have known him well as are those that knew him.

When I think of Fred, I think of a photo in a corn field in Iowa! Our thoughts and prayers to the Potenza family as you grieve, and as you celebrate many wonderful memories.

I knew Fred when we both worked at the National Safety Council in Chicago and he was very kind, thoughtful and professional in his efforts. We both worked for the president of the Council, the late Governor Howard Pyle, who earlier was the chief executive of the state of Arizona and then prior to joining the Council a top aide to President Dwight D. Eisenhower as a liaison to state governments.
