Not sure what to say?

Did you know Fred held the fastest Cross Country Time for the 2 1/2 mile Van Cortland Park , New York, Cross Country Course? His record was later broken by Marty Liqouri, the famous All American from Essex Catholic and Villanova. Fred was a running legend in his day.

Fred, Rest In Peace. You were one of the first CHSAA to break 13 minutes at VCP. You created a path for others to follow . Your legacy will be remembered .
Peter Gaughn class of 1973

Fred was my teammate on the Nazareth High Track Team. I just came upon this Memorial while wondering how Fred was doing. I remember Fred as being very kind, a gentleman and a great runner. We called him PROTO! I would see him occasionally at various track meets in college as I went on to run for Manhattan College! So sorry to hear of his passing! May he Rest In Peace!
