Fred was always a pleasure to be around we use to go fishing down at the slough ,
Play on the dike behind Terry Detz Uncle on schmeer rd by the horse track we played a lot of basketball and foot ball he was a good sport and a very good freind his mom made the best fried chicken in the neighborhood we all grew up and apart I just want to send my best wishes to the family from Pete Barr

Freddy "Cue Ball" Qualls, so sad to hear of his passing. My basketball playing friend along with Harold, Pete, Paul, Pat, Tom, Clyde,"the Couch", and the rest of the guys from Holy Redeemer and elsewhere. Freddy got his nickname "Cue Ball" because we played pool in his basement. Freddy was a terrific basketball player and I'm so sad that I haven't seen him in so many years, we could have laughed and joked about all the fun times we had in high school.
