it was over 60 years ago that my Pops took me to Fred's for my first visit. During those years Fred's was more than a restaurant, you could purchase magazines, Yoyos, magic tricks, games, poo poo Cushions, comic books and just generally good stuff. I have not lived in Franklin since the 1970's but whenever I am there I seem to always end up at Fred's. I will miss seeing Fred when I stop by in the future. Goodbye Fred, all of Franklin and parts much further away will miss you! My prayers are...

Fred was one of the first I met when I moved to town 25 years ago. He always had the time to say hello with a smile and truly cared about people. I never heard him say a disparaging word about any one. He will be missed by all in Franklin and the surrounding area. Our prayers and thoughts are with Joyce, David, Frank, Johnnie and the family at this time.
It was a pleasure and honor to have known him.
