Not sure what to say?

Fred,Bob,Dan & family. I was just thinking of your dad yesterday while driving down Campaign St. I send this note with my sincere sympathy. Our dads were such good friends and the memories they gave us all here in Maywood Park, Sun Lakes and wherever the escapades of the Wagon Train took us, will last us our lifetime. And oh how they loved a party.

My sympathy to your family on the loss of your father and grandfather.
In 1971 I went to work in personnel for Mr.Riler and valued him as a mentor and a friend until I left the bank in 1988. He had a great sense of humor, a warm heart and always a smile.

My husband, Al Stanley, now deceased, worked his first job as teller and eventually personnel manager at 1st National Bank. He thought the world of Mr. Riler. Al was pleased when he learned I had spoken to Mr. Riler in the 80's when he was visiting in the office where I worked. Mr. Riler remembered Al. What a great guy. Maxine Stanley

I met Fred when I first moved to 25th Way, Vancouver, from Iowa. I found him a gentle man and hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.

On our summer trips to Sun Lakes with the Wagon Train, Mr. Riler's family was always the first party to arrive. No matter how early the rest of us started out in our cars, Mr. Riler and his family were there first. He helped me with a job when I needed one, and he always had a word of encouragement for me. Thanks, Mr. Riler. May your memory be eternal.

Fred

My deepest sympathies.

Dear Fred & Jeannie, Bob & Marcia, and Dan,

Ben and I loved your dad and enjoyed every moment of having him as our neighbor. Your dad was a joy to talk to! We missed him dearly when he moved.

You are all in our prayers and know that Fred is in Heaven with our Lord.

At Sun Lakes, he was the 'Captain' for our water skiing and fishing adventures, and I will always remember him grabbing me by the hand to be his look out in the boat. He was part of the fabric of my childhood that all those "Wagoneers" are part of. Those memories always make me smile. Rest in peace 'Captain', we have the watch!
