Not sure what to say?

My wife Linda and I have very fond memories of the Robillard clan in Centralia. Although we did not know Fred real well, we both recall his very friendly manner and "jovial" was the word we both came up with. Due to the fact we were neighbors, the girls were great baby-sitters, and Toby, of course, got free shotputting lessons in our back yard. What a great athlete he was! Please know that Linda and I send our most sincere condolences and that we have prayed for all of you.

THE MILITARY SERVICE FOR APRIL 9TH HAS BEEN POSTPONED. We are having a gathering, however, in Black Diamond, WA, on that same day...April 9th at 1:30 pm. You can choose the "contact me" link here if you are interested in attending, and I will give you the details.

There are many fond memories I share with my Dad. The times we spent fishing and when he would sit around with his "war buddies" and remember the good ol' days. The times I would get to go to his fire station and see the trucks. Many times I would just sit and marvel at the way he could construct a sign and make everything look so good. How many trips did he and Mom make to Cheney to see me sit on the bench? I didn't have a better fan. Ad Ruetchman (the football coach at Linfield) still talks...

My memories of Fred go back to the Christmas season of 1959 when he (with two daughters and a son), married my mother (with three daughters), and our "blended family" moved to Boistfort. Fred became active in the volunteer fire department in the valley, and joined the Boistfort Lions Club. He especially "excelled" as the "tailtwister" during meetings! His skill as a sign painter and his beautiful handwriting began to show up on business and boat signs and names throughout Western Washington...

Dad passed away on Dec 20, 2006, in North Dakota, where he has been living with his wife, Aimee, and 2 stepsons Jerry and Bill, since 2000. He was driving and went off the road - we don't know why, and died in the car crash. Jerry was in the car with dad. At first Jerry struggled to stay alive and has been improving amazingly well since he came out of the coma just a while ago. That is why we put off the memorial service until now. For those of you planning to go to the Service on Mon,...
