Not sure what to say?

I’m so glad this reminder brought Fred back to the forefront of my mind! He is such a role model for a good old age. I’m starting to appreciate, at 62, how much strength of character it took for him to continue to exercise through old age and heartbreak. What a great guy he was. His memory is a blessing.

My dad and I met Fred on the bike trail just in the last month or two. My dad is 90, and is struggling to take care of my mom and get back into a walking routine. It's very hard for him; his life is hard at the moment. Fred was such an inspiration! He'd talk to us whenever we ran into him, encouraging my dad, listening to his story, sharing his own. He had a gift for always adjusting to life's changes with peace and happiness. He liked people, and tried to help. He had so many things...

I never had the opportunity to meet Fred, but over the last three years I have been inspired by his energy and zest for life and for bike riding. My parents met him on the bike trail and would visit with him often when they ran into him during one of his long rides. I remember one story that my parents shared with me that was so sweet. It was last spring and they had not see Fred in a while. When they met him on the bike trail they noticed that he had a plant that he was hauling. He...

I remember seeing Fred biking all around Milford and always with a smile on his face. We are truly sorry to the entire Rohrig family on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sandy Myers and family

I met Fred at Sem Terrace several months ago. My mom was living there at the time, and she knew him, I believe, from St. Andrews Church. He was such a nice, friendly, personable man. He would talk with us about fishing in the Little Miami River next to Sem Terrace, and I would see him riding his bike when I'd go visit my mom. Thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

I remember meeting Fred years ago on the bike trail. He was always so very cheerful and outgoing and I was so impressed that he always remembered my name. Last year he told me all the things he enjoyed doing - his vegetable garden, fishing, and of course, biking. He was amazing, biking for hours and hours! I am blessed to have met such a wonderful man, he always brighten my day with his smile and warm "hello" Do you think there are bike trails in heaven? Linda Naberhaus
