To a man and his family, I do not personally know, the legacy left behind is true inspiration to all. Dr. Saalfeld and his family continue to demonstrate the characteristics of a true leader, genius researchers, historical figures, hard worker, humble citizens, and genuine humans. I am so thankful that both Fred and Liz were(are) my friends. They have been a part of my life that I will never get back. They are two people who spent their lives loving and serving others, on all kinds of levels. I hope all of you will join me in praying for them as they go to God...and I hope I greet them there.
