Fred Saca

Mr. Saca was related to one of my close friends. Two years ago I needed a large piece of cardboard to use in my luggage, so I stopped by Filco. Mr. Saca took me up to the storeroom, found the perfect piece, and cut it to my specifications. He was so kind, charming, and gracious. Condolences to his family.

Uncle Fred was a kind and generous person and he always shares hand picked fruits and produce from the Market. His face lights up when he sees you. We will miss his happy smile and welcoming embrace. He is at peace and joining my Dad Saleh, my mom Georgette, Uncle Issa, Auntie Linda. May he Rest In Peace.

Auntie Elaine and family, my heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. We will miss him greatly. I will miss running into him at the farmers market on Sundays. It was always a treat to see him. When this COVID thing is over, we will swing by and visit. Know you are on our thoughts and in our hearts. Sending our love from me and the entire family.

Fred was such a gentleman, always warm and friendly and willing to help me on my visits to FILCO. I miss his greetings when visiting the store.
