SCHAEFER
Fred Schaefer, lifelong Construction Contractor and owner of Schaefer Construction Company on Bandera Rd., passed away March 10, 2010. He retired in the mid 90's, but always had plenty of work that had to be done, from heavy equipment to asphalt road work, to trips to the Coast and enjoying life on a ranch in Boerne. Though widowed, Fred is survived by his son, Max E. Schaefer; granddaughter, Lisa Pipkin and husband, Daniel and their two children, Sierra and Levi; grandson Clifford Schaefer and his son , Clifford Schaefer Jr.; extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and support throughout this time of our great loss. "We all love you and miss you, and for sure, we will never forget you." "Grandpa, I would like to say thanks for everything you taught me, from a kid to a man, and always being there as someone I could look up to my whole life. with the deepest feelings from our hearts, we love you so very much", Clifford Schaefer. I remember as a child our family's yearly New Year's Day trip out to the Ranch to visit your grandparents. Your grandfather Fred and grandmother Annabelle were great fun. My parents loved them both dearly.
