Fred was always Freddy to me.. My father Ralph Chernin and he were close. Freddy was a very nice a loving man. I remember a few times going to his house to babysit. I had an opportunity to be in a small meeting with Freddie and other industry leader including his brothers. His honesty and insights have stayed with me for the 35 years as I have guided my career. While i was never a Simon employee I used his wisdom. His son Jeffrey was a friend too who left us way to soon. Thank you Freddie from a whole industry.
