Today when I was leaving work there was this old man sitting by himself humming and for a minute it took me back to when I slept over and you would just sit at the end of the dining room table after eating something good Grama cooked for us and hum. Or when I would wake up and just hear you shuffling around the house humming or doing it as you watched the birds and butterflies in the morning with your paper and coffee.
