Jim and I were saddened for you to learn of your father's death. Did you know your mom and dad were among the first to visit my folks when they moved to Monterey Street in 1957? It was a good place to grow up because families like yours were there. I am so glad that our parents were able to rekindle their friendship at the Admiral. It is with great sadness that I have just read about Fred's death. Fred and my father, Prentiss Lee Brown, were friends back in the40's or 50's when my father was with Lott Furniture Company in Laurel, MS. We left Laurel and moved to Magee, MS where my parents opened Brown Furniture Company. Many Thursday's when my father when to Jackson on business-we would go by and see Fred in Jackson at his store.
