FRED TAYLOR "FRITZ" MERRILLVILLE, IN
Fred "Fritz" Taylor, age 70, of Merrillville, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013. He is survived by two brothers; nieces; and his family at the Arc Northwest Indiana, where he had been an invaluable member of the Arc community for the past 30 years. Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Taylor, Jr.; and his beloved mother, Mary Anne Taylor. Fritz spent the majority of his life in Merrillville, and was known in his younger years for his frequent bike rides around the community. As the self-appointed security guard of his apartment building, Fritz enjoyed interacting and joking with peers and staff. He was an avid lover and collector of model trains and license plates. Fritz's sense of humor and good-natured spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may visit on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Wilkins officiating.
