Elder Torrence was a mentor and like a father to me since I moved to Alabama. If he had to get in my butt, he did. If he had to show love, he did. He was very active in the church and community. He loved to hold court and was one raconteur when ready.he worked with my mom in the disaster relief efforts after Ivan. He was a help to my family,got my brother work. Tried with me.
