Not sure what to say?

I worked at Nalco in HR for 29 years.....after 7 years, I transferred to SugarLand for 4 years, to work for the Refining and oil field groups in helping them find sales engineering candidates....candidates. I spent just one day with Fred in 1986, in, and around the Bakersfield area. I never saw Fred again, though we did talk a few more times. Not only did he give me wonderful insight into the oil field industry, he was a very nice man, and treated...

I knew of Fred throughout my career at Nalco, but only met him one single time...and it was a good memory for me.....It was in the Bakersfield oil field. A long time Nalco sales recruiter, I had been assigned to find sales people for the petroleum division, and was stationed for 4 years in Sugar Land from 1986 to 1989. On a trip to Bakersfield, maybe in 1986 or 1987, they assigned me to spend a day with Fred, and I learned a lot in a short time....And most importantly, he was kind individual,...

Dear Pat and Family. So sorry to hear of your loss. Fred and I worked together for many years at Visco and had many memorable experiences. He will always be remembered.

I was in Nalco recruiting for 29 years, and after being transferred to Sugar Land, I had to take a crash course in oil field and refining.....I travelled with Fred, in the Bakersfield area, for a half day in about 1986 or '87....he taught me a lot about the oil field in about 4-5 hours.....I never met him again, but after that, when ever I heard his name mentioned, I always had a nice memory ....and said so, to whomever mentioned him...he was a very cool guy!

Fred and I worked together when he was a Visco District Manager in the Los Angeles area. He was a creative leader and dedicated to the well being of his employees and customers. I will always have a high regard him.

So very sorry to hear that Fred passed away.

So very sorry to hear that Fred passed away. Worked many nights and weekends with Fred in the LA basin when he was
district Manager and I was in research from Sugar Land. Have many good memories from those days

My condolences to Fred's family. I was fortunate to meet him once as secretary for V20 in Casper, WY

Great memories of Fred and some early lessons for me as young man on being a flexible and effective manager by watching Fred. His early Visco crew was a great collection of characters, Gene, Whiskey Don, Stew, Rex, etc, all he kept in line and provided leadership. Rest in Peace Fred.

I only met Fred once, but heard of him many times from Visco reps and customers in Bakersfield and Santa Maria. He graciously allowed us Water Treatment reps to use his office in Battlefield. I am glad I knew him. Sorry for your loss.
