A great American from the "Greatest Generation." I registered him on the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. 0n 5/5/2018 as one of the Marines who flew the first flag on Mt. Suribachi Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945. The second flag raised later in the day became the most published photograph of World War II.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. May the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 comfort your family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Please read what the Bible says at Isaiah 61:1,2
