I am saddened to learn that Fred (or Derf as we use to refer to him) has passed. Fred started my career at H. Wenzel Tent and Duck Company and later Kellwood, which lasted until my retirement about 9 years ago. Fred, his dad Herman, and his uncles Fred W and Bill were some of the best people I have ever know. God bless his family. I will never forget him.
