Fred was an important part of my life at Kemper and development in general. It was from Fred that I learned how to live your faith "gently" but effectively.

The world has lost a wonderful guy, but heaven has gained a new angel that will be with all forever.

Fred was a friend I had the opportunity to work with and he made our times together fun. I remember my wife and me meeting him and his large family in a small town in Texas at a unique restaurant after he had retired from Kemper. Carolyn has never forgotten the pile of pepper he put on his meal. He is memorable to a lot of us in his own special way.

You fought a good fight Fred. It's time to rest now.

What a great friend and mentor, as along with many others will be deeply missed but fond memeroies of our KEMPER days and continued friendship.

What a delightful man. You will be missed Fred. Every time I was in your presence I always felt welcome and special.

As much as we miss him, We rejoice with the angels at Fred's home coming. Save us a seat at the table buddy.
We will try to maintain his sense of style. As I recall, Fred was all for wearing a tuxedo, ascot and hat.
