My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We grew up in the neighborhood during our elementary school days.I went to visit a friend one summer in St.Pete. He answered the door. We looked at each other for a moment.We had not seen each other after 16 St.Jr high.
Sitting there talking to Ivetta he seem withdrawn. When I was leaving, I said to Fred, God is Great and trust God at all times .
"Rest in Peace Classmate".

Fred was good person and classmate attending 16th Street and Gibbs as a popular football player. He will be sadly missed from all of The Progressive Class of 1973. My prayers of strength and comfort to the family. Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.

It saddens me that we have lost such a kind-hearted person as Fred. He was a genuine person and I have fond memories of him during 16th Street and Gibbs High. May God strengthen his family and friends during this difficult time.

it's been decades since I last saw Fred, but the middle school and high school memories are still fresh in my mind. Rest in Peace, old friend.

To the family of our beloved Fred Williams, Jr., may you find complete solace in the one and only Comforter, Jesus, the Christ. I will always have the fond memories of our junior high days close to my heart. Fred left an indelible impression on so many of us. Love to the family.

I attended 16th Street Jr. High with Fred, and remember Mrs. Blossoms class together.
