  Freda Margaret Campbell, of Birmingham, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at the age of 81.  She loved music and participated in the choir at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church where she had been a member for 57 years.


  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John T. Campbell, Sr.; 3 sons, John T. Campbell, Jr. (Ronna); Jeffery Dale Campbell; and Joel Paul Campbell (Jeanne); 1 grandchild, John T. Campbell III (Natasha); 2 brothers, William C. Griffis and James L. Griffis (Billie); and a sister, Regina Gore (Danny).


  The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30, Tuesday, March 13, 2018,  at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.  Memorial service will follow at 2:30, Bill Johnson officiating.  The family request donations be made to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.

Margaret was a sweet, kind and caring person to work with at The Dance Foundation. She was always someone I admired due to her strength and determination. My prayers are with Jeff and her family at this time.
