Freda Parker Parsons Dean

DEAN, FREDA PARKER PARSONS, 75, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

She was native of Providence, KY and a member of Hunsinger Baptist Church. Freda was preceded in death by her husbands, Alan W. Parsons and Charles Dean and her grandson, Matthew Morton.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Venn (Bob), Winchester, KY and Mary Pat Parsons, Louisville; grandson, Mark Morton (April); granddaughter, Anna Carroll; and sister, Phyllis Dean Fleming (John).

Her funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wright Family Cemetery in McCreary County, KY. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Friday at Highlands.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hunsinger Baptist Church or DebRA of America, Inc. 16 E. 41st St., 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10017, in memory of her grandson, Matthew.
