Heartfelt Sympathy & Prayers to Brother Fred Crawfords Family & sorrowing Friends. BLESSINGS IN CHRIST,
Rev. Dr. D. Lovett-Sconiers

Fondly remembered with much respect... stood tall among men and controlled the streets without anger. As the only white family in Midtown (1501 15th St South) from 1960 t0 1968, he friendship was a true blessing. I am 63 now, and still the 10 year old boy remembers.

My sincere condolences to the Crawford family. Freddie was a wonderful friend to me growing up and my family. We reconnected years ago and stayed in contact via phone often. Our last talk was last summer. My first summer job was as a plow girl at his and Gerry Style's Plowboy burger place. He touched so many lives in very positive ways. May God continue to watch over his family.

I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing the legacy Mr. Crawford left behind, and growing up in that era, he and the 11 other officers made a great and positive change in the St. Petersburg police department and the lives of many people in this city " Rip Mr. Freddie and thank you for your service Respectfully submitted , Charles E. Shannon!

Thank You Mr. Fred Crawford for paving the way for so many Minority Law Enforcement Officers. When it was not popular you were brave enough to take a stand. You paved the way for so many, we must never forget the 12 Courageous of St. Petersburg Police Department. You were indeed a Legend, you hired me at Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation as a civilian who later became an officer. Thank You for your Great Contributions to Law Enforcement. RIP Gone, but never forgotten.

Thank-you Crawford family for allowing your father, grandfather, uncle, and brother to give his life of service to the law enforcement community and even though the time has come to say good by, he will be in my heart forever.
