Not sure what to say?

Fred was my mailman for over 20 years, on Rockbridge rd. In Swanston Estates, near the Arden Fair Mall. A true friend to the whole neighborhood, and universally loved - I never saw him in a bad mood. He´s in a lot of my childhood memories from those days, albeit the time he got attacked by a neighbor´s dog and fought it off with mace, or all the years he would be so loaded down with Christmas presents at the end of the year, he´d have to make multiple trips to his car to drop them off...

I had the pleasure to work with Freddie for over 20 year at the Carrier Annex in North Sacramento. He isn´t forgotten.

Freddie,
Artimus Parker III and I Maria oxley miss you so much. You have done so much for us and I thank you! See you someday!! Rest in peace!!!

You will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all your family in their time of grief.

Freddie was our letter carrier for many many years. When my kids were little, they would make lemonade in the summer and when they seen Freddie come down the street they would run to greet him and always give him as much lemonade that he needed to finish his rounds. He was the nicest, friendliest and most considerate person we had in all the 39 years that we lived here in swanston estates. He won't be forgotten. He made a good impression on all our family. We hated it when he had to...

Freddie was our mailman from when I was born in 1959 until I left Swanston in 1978. He was a GREAT person. I thought of him often when I drove through the neighborhood and had always hoped to see him again. My deepest sympathy to his family in the loss of such a wonderful, kind man. My thoughts are with the family.

My you be that peace with our father God and dance a dance of joy in a better place love Juanita

In our walk through life some people are a gift from God. Mr. Freddie Jackson was such an individual. Always willing to listen and offer sound advice on many life matters. He was never negative, always positive. He was a responsible, loving family man, that many today should emulate. I will remember speaking to him about life in general, and he would say to me, " Hang in there".

May God comfort the family during their time of grief and saddness.
Gregory Smith-U.S.P.S. Retired

It was a real honor and pleasure to know you and to have been around such a loving and kind person. And to be a part of such a wonderful family
