I did not know Freddie well, but all I knew was good. He and his beautiful wife Ronnie made the perfect couple—a gentleman and his lady.

I knew Freddie from the Entomology and Nematologoy Department. If ever there was a true southern gentleman, it was Freddie Johnson. His laugh and smile and gentle humor will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
