Not sure what to say?

Freddy and I grew up together in Omaha and remained friends even as she lived in New York and I lived in Washington. My husband and I traveled to New York on a regular basis and always saw Snooky. I will miss her a lot. We always had a lot of fun together Maxine Polsky

Eve, I had the joy of working with you mother, at Streets & Co, in NYC, decades ago. I was from a tiny town in NC, and Freddy took me under her wings for the four years I lived in Manhattan. She used to joke that she was "my Jewish mother" in NYC. She was stylish, kind, gregarious, generous, hysterically funny, and exquisitely elegant. I adored her. I still talk about her to this day. Please accept my condolences. Freddy was one of a kind.

So many memories of times with Freddy both in Westport and in Manhattan. Freddy was a wonderful friend and a truly special and lovely person. Our times together came to an end when I moved to Virginia but I will forever cherish memories of those days and of Freddy, my friend who was beautiful in every way.

My memories of Freddy go back to college days in the early 1950s and then to New York, where we both migrated, Freddy from Omaha, I from Birmingham. She was the liveliest and loveliest of friends. We lost touch long ago, when I married and moved to Cleveland. I send loving memories and share her family's sorrow. Adele Zeidman Silver

Rest in Peace, dear Freddy. We became great friends when I lived in Manhattan. She was so much fun and utterly like-able.
