Not sure what to say?

Greetings Cinda and Jennifer, I have hopes that you are both doing well. Jennifer, I have such fond memories of you in my OES advanced math class! I know how much you loved your attentive Dad. Your memories of him must bring you joy. All my best, Connie Leonard [email protected]

You are not forgotten. So many of our classmates still talk about you and your kind and thoughtful ways. Lorri (Lee) Semisch

Fred was a sweet gentle friend of mine when he was a senior medical student and then an intern at Marion County General Hospital, and an Anaesthesia Resident and Indiana University Medical Center. I remember playing bridge with him and trumping his ace. He took it like the gentle man he always was. He showed me his new VW beetle when he bought it, and when I commented on the gray color, he told me that he LOVED that color. He was one of our group of friends from Hawaii, and I will never...

Oh Fred, you will be so missed by many. What a lovely Spirit you had. It was so nice working with you. Make em smile up there...............Tina Contreras

Your smile and kindness will never be forgotten by all that knew you. It is true; heaven has welcomed you with open arms. I worked side by side with you at St. Vincent and will always remember your devotion to your patients and those you worked with.

I first met Fred when I was an intern at Good Samaritan in 1977. He was (and is) my hero ... the reason why I went into anesthesiology. Fred taught me that compassion and loving patients during their surgery was possible. He set the model for a king, gentle, loving anesthesiologist. Rest gently, kind physician.

Cinda and Jen,

My heart goes out to both of you. I had the privilege of working with Fred for all of those years at GSH. He was the ultimate professional. I remember him most for pioneering and perfecting our labor epidurals. We were all so pleased to see him at my retirement party in April. He looked so vibrant and happy. He will be remembered and missed always.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Fred.I worked with Fred at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years. He was an excellent anesthesiolgist, a great teacher, and was always looking for ways to better serve his patients. He was a kind and caring man. I will always treasure what he taught me as a new nurse, and remember him with fondness. My thoughts are with his family.

Cinda & Jennifer,
I feel so privileged to have called Fred a friend for so many years during his time at GSH when I was an OR nurse. Outside the hospital we spent many fun times together for parties, Holiday dinners & social events at my parents
home in Sunnyside. They loved him too.
And aside from all of our "social" times
together, he was my favorite anesthesiologist during many procedures through the years.
I have never met a kinder or more gentle man & how proudly he...
