Although half a century ago, those who were coached by Mr. Kubsch will remember him with reverence for his extraordinary knowledge of the fundamentals of football - blocking and tackling.Fred was a throwback to the days of smashmouth football. He played center for Marquette University against the likes of Sam Huff before the days of facemasks and gave no quarter to those of us who wore them - busted noses and teeth was the price you paid to play. His coaching of these techniques was a huge...

My name is Tom Ambrose and I'm from Oshkosh Wisconsin. Coach kubsch was one of my mentors at Oshkosh west and I'm 73 years old. I kept in contact with him for the last 20 to 25 years never forgot him and never will. He was one of the people who made getting a higher education possible for me after highschool.
Farewell My friend.

My oldest brother will be remembered by me for many things. He was always liked and respected by all. A great brother, son, father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather uncle, cousin and coach. All of our Nascar races together with the bro's were events I will never forget. What a blast.
The only thing I can vividly remember was that he stunk at anything technological.!!
I will miss you Brother.

Great brother, student, sportsman, coach to many father, grandfather, great grand father cousin, uncle and to the best loving wife in the world, Greta. The only thing I can think of is that he was definitely not an I.T. guy.
My memories of (Fritz), because he will always be my Fritz were all fun related, From our honeymoon, his trips to...

I had Mr. Kubsch for typing class in the 1970's. He was a great presence in the class room as well as the sidelines. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. May you find comfort in the many lives he touched.
