Not sure what to say?

The world was a better place with Mr. Varni being a part of it. Long before Mr. Varni's son Gerard became one of my closest friends, he was my little league coach and was the first coach to put me on the mound. Fond memories, for sure!

Though the years, all the guys admired and respected Mr. Varni, he was truly a man of integrity, compassion and wisdom - and he'll be sorely missed.

Prayers sent to Patrice and the entire family.

A man, such as Keith, happens rarely, I think. To all the Varni family, take comfort and pride knowing all the challenges and heart-breaks your Dad experienced, he, managed and persisted leaving a huge mark on the space of his world. What I remember most of Keith was his humble manner and the strength it spoke in volumes about him. Perhaps the dearest request any of us parents could ask of our children, is to stay connected to one another as your lives move on. Be "family", as we/they...

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

MR.V. WAS 1 HELL OF A MAN .OUTSTANDING HUSBAND/FATHER.

Keith Varni was a wonderful person, one of a kind! Wayne had the privilege of working with him as a court reporter when Keith was a judge at the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board, and he often said he never worked with a finer or more intelligent person.
Beyond that, we were friends with Ruth and Keith as we all were involved in the many activities at St. Anne's parish and school in the 60's and 70's. No one could tell a funny story like Keith could! We were all stunned when Ruth was...

My childhood was greatly enriched by "Mr. Varni". He taught me many valuable lessons in my youth, as did Ruth. They were, by far, the most loving, caring and humble people I ever met. As a father, a role model, and spiritual giant; Keith was 'king'. What a great man and great family. My condolences to the family on their loss.

I am sending my sincere condolences to the family. May you find comfort in this thought found at Isaiah 61:1,2 which reads in part" God sent his son to bind up the brokenhearted and to comfort those who mourn."

He was a remarkable man and his presence lives on in the hearts and lives of his children and grandchildren. Sending love to your entire family as you celebrate his life.

Keith was such an inspiration to me. He kept me running (literally) and looking for a new race every month. We shared lots of 10k's and for me, my first half marathon in '99. Kind, gentle, loving and would do anything for his kids, grandchildren, friends. Thank you Keith for touching my life in a very special way.
