Not sure what to say?

I met Ric while I worked at Schneeberger here in the U.S. He was always looking for a good laugh and he and I joked a lot. He was a nice man and I offer my deepest sympathies to his family for their loss!

I was shocked to learn of Ric's sudden death and send sincere condolences to his entire family. I first met Ric when he was working at Kingsbury Corp. and we enjoyed a close business relationship when he later moved to Switzerland to work for Schneeberger as head of their R&D group. He was a highly intelligent and very capable engineer with a warm sense of humor and love of life. We had some great conversations over wine and dinners in Switzerland and Germany.

I just heard about Ric's passing and can't believe it! He used to stay at The Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee, CA (where I work at the front desk) and he had many friends and acquaintances in this area. He was always so nice and funny and just a great guy. He will be missed...

I still remember how calm and considerate he was with us annoying younger kids at Renbrook. Special regards to Chet, Mary and family.

I just heard the tragic news about Ric while visiting my mother in Avon, CT for Mother's Day. Ric and I went to Westminster together and were not that close until we saw each other at our 25th reunion. We stayed in touch during his last few years in Swtizerland and became close upon his return to CT. We had many long and meaningful conversations about both business and personal matters. We had breakfast in NYC in February and brunch in Richmond in April and spoke on the phone just a few weeks...

We had the pleasure of working with Frederick on the ThrillSled parts. We always enjoyed our conversations. he will be missed.

Dear Ric,

I am going to miss you. We had some memorable adventures and a great friendship. Sneaking off from Westminster to Gilead and West Hartford on the weekends, walking the railroad tracks for miles, listening to Taj Mahal, Neil Young and others, building the cabin in the Westminster woods, working on the nursery crew and with bees with Mr. Burdett (he called to express his condolences), starting a cross-country ski “team”, dinners and drinks in the Old Port in our 20’s and...

Our condolences to the family and Sandra.Over the past six years we had the pleasure of meeting Rick a great number of times. He and Sandra would often come to Washington, especially during the period when his eldest son studied there. In fact, they stayed with us just a few short weeks before his tragic demise. He was always a model father and a devoted boyfriend! We shall miss him!
