Frederic D. "Fritz" Wolfe

Condolences to Lisa, Freddie and Christine. It's been a long time, but I liked your father and I'm sure you miss him.

I was hired by Fritz in 1975, as a supervisor at Western Ohio Stone Company. My career in the crushed stone industry ended with my retirement in 2017, in which I worked for five corporations, and in more than twenty states. I am forever grateful to Fritz for the opportunity to be part of a business that never got old, and was always challenging and rewarding. Fritz was enormously generous and helpful to me when he first appointed me to the board of what was then Health Care Reit. He was one of the early movers in appointing a woman to his board. I think he was likely influenced by the strength and intelligence of his wife Mary to appreciate the possibilities of women.
He was a very special person. My sympathies to he family
