Frederic S. Young

As a long time friend of Julie, I have fond memories of "Mr. Young". Your tribute reminded me of things I had forgotten but I always remember his love for family. To his dedicated and loving wife, June, your caregiving for your husband was admirable as we know how difficult that journey can be. I do know that the U of O duck "blood" runs deep in the Young family yet, even as a Beaver Believer, we managed to get along!
He is in a better place now though that doesn't always soothe those...

I am saddened to hear this news about Fred. Fred and I both served as president of the Portland Board of REALTORS during the 1980s, as well as on a number of real estate committees for many years. Fred was a true professional and always had a positive attitude and a pleasant manner. I had a great deal of respect for Fred, both in his business dealings and as a person. It was my privilege to know and work with Fred.
