No words I can say will truly ease your sorrow. Just know that I am here should you need to talk or share more stories about your father. Take comfort that he lived a long and beautiful life.

Mr. Allen was my 12th grade teacher for Humanities and AP English at Fletcher. He was the best classroom teacher that I ever had. He had a real joy for the subjects that he taught and brought Beowolf and Shakespeare alive in the classroom. I was lucky enough to see him in Publix a few years ago, re-introduce myself and tell him how much I enjoyed his classes. Fletcher was a better place for having Mr. Allen on its staff.
