May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Carol, I'm so sorry for your loss. I never met Fred but know he was a fine man. I have made a donation in his memory to the Toni and Trish House in Auburn. May you treasure the many memories you created in your years together.

I have many great childhood memories with the Arnesens. Many rounds of Marco Polo around their pool, sledding at their cabin, and the Isle Royale canoeing trip with Fred and Jeff. I was alway touched that Fred and Carol came out to Washington for our wedding. Thank you.

Fred and my husband, Elmer, had been friends since Kindergarten. They shared experiences from swimming in The Saginaw River to sailing in The Great Lakes. Our two families have had countless happy memories together - lots of laughter, playing games and snow times up at the cottage. Priceless treasures they still talk about...

We have been neighbors to Fred and Carol since my husband and I bought our first and current home eleven years ago. We’ve shared many driveway chats and simultaneous trips to get the mail that resulted in hour-long conversations. He had a great sense of humor and a quick wit that always had us laughing. Fare thee well good and faithfull brother, fare thee well

Fred was a classmate of mine and a brilliant man. He once saved my wife from being hit by a car. Will always remember him and pray for his family. Enjoy your new and eternal home, dear friend.

The last time I saw Fred he showed the same smile as in his picture. I chatted with Carol and Fred while picking up the mail. Laughter was exchanged and good memories made. Thanks for being a great neighbor Fred. Carol, may many great memories ease your sorrow now. Looking forward to more chats and smiles in the time to come. We will miss you Fred.
