Michele, Patricia and Jon, My deepest sympathies, I have only wonderful memories of growing up with you all in my life. From the time I was two until the time I was sixteen you all were like a second family to me. Your dad was always fun and had a kind heart, and I know he will be missed by all . I have not seen all of you for many years, and I didnt know how much I missed you all until I got the news. Mickey, Patty, I love you like sisters and wish you all the best.

The Fred Auer I remember will always be my best friend's dad from when we were young. Hanging out in your kitchen, eating pickled tomatoes, making a run to White Castle, fishing at the Hudson River, lighting fire crackers on the Fourth of July, and mowing the lawn while we played flashlight tag, twirled on the lawn until we got dizzy, running bases or croquet...
