Not sure what to say?

I miss see Fred coming outside, when I was cleaning his pool. He was A very happy man. I will miss his great talks.

I worked with Fred Auld on special research programs at General Dynamics. It was always a pleasure to work with a highly intelligent person like Fred. It was largely through his contribution that programs were successful and were incorporated into production aircraft. My best wishes to his family.

Rob, David, Lissa, Emily, Margaret - I adored and so appreciated your Dad. It is not surprising to see others use the same words I have when I think of Fred. Kind, gentle, caring... a twinkle in his eye...his humor...can hear him laugh. what a great spirit.

All our hearts are with you, Lissa, Emily, Margaret, David and Rob. We love you. We loved Uncle Fred.

My sympathy goes out to Fred's family. Fred and I grew up together in Elberton, Georgia. We were in school together and went to the First Presbyterian Church in Elberton. Fred always remembered his home church and came back to visit many times over the years. We had many memorable visits talking about “olden times.” Fred will surely be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Fred's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. Love, Henry and Therese Megan

We retirees from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin mourn the passing of a gentle and kind man.

Rob, David, Lissa, Emily and Margaret,
I am so saddened to learn of your dad's death. I adored both him and your mom, as well as each of you.I have such fond memories of growing up with all the Auld kids -- Rick had to watch all the boys, and I had to watch all the girls! Good times. You're each in my thoughts and my prayers.

Margaret and family, my prayers are with you all at this sad time. Even though I never met your father in person, we shared interests through email and wise words through phone calls over the 25 years Margaret and I have worked together. He was a special person and I will miss him.
