Frederick Azar passed into eternity November 17, 2007 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Ameline Azar, two brothers, Joseph and Antoine Azar, and a grandson, Cameron Caldwell. Mr. Azar was formerly president of the garment manufacturing company Camille Azar & Sons and was also president of the stock and bond company F. Azar & Co. He was a former member of the Kansas City Board Of Trade. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anne; a son, Fred Azar and his wife Kersti of Chicago; three daughters, Camille Azar, Alison Zimmerlin and husband Edward, and Diana Azar. He is also survived by two sisters, Marguerite Harris and Jeanette Fakoury; four grandchildren, Andrew Caldwell, Kate and Lauren Azar and Ethan Azar. The family wishes to thank friends and family for their support and the caregivers who assisted us in caring for Mr. Azar. He will be missed and loved always. Visitation will be held Monday November 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 21st at 10:00 A.M. at Nativity Catholic Church, 119th & Mission Rd. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
