I met Fred Baldauf when I was dating his niece. His terrific humor, his undying belief in the "can do" and his kindness to what was then a "country bumpkin" stranger left a VERY positive impression on me. His family, and those who knew Fred, have lost a treasure. David Aeschliman

What a wonderful person Fred was. Just hearing about him and his wonderful love for his family make me smile. A strong, man who didn't take any nonsense from anyone. Fred will live on, his daughters certainly have his spirit and so do his grandchildren.

We are so sorry to hear of Freds passing. Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. We will truly miss Fred not only as a neighbor, but as a friend. What a wonderful story teller and such an upbeat enthusiastic person through all of his trials these last years. May he rest in peace - God Bless.

Valerie,
I am sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My prayers are with you and your family. I knew Fred as a great story teller, unmatched historian and as a wise man. I will miss talking to Fred. I worked many shifts with Fred whom I called Bedo Baldini.
