I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Freddy. We spent countless hours playing basketball in his full court basketball area that his father set up ,complete with floodlights .Freddy was a good friend throughout my years cathedral and great team mate on the basketball team. I remember him making the layup at Boston to seal our victory over Boston Tech in the state quarterfinals in 1967 I too remember the Corvette and the cords of wood that we will be delivering .After playing basketball...

My condolences to Karen and the entire family. I have known Fred since kindergarten through graduation at Cathedral High. We were even in cub scouts together and Fred's mom was the den mother. It was great to see you at the 50th reunion. Rest in peace my friend. Jim and Jill Byrne

My sincere condolences to the entire Berard Family. I met Freddy at AIC. We pledged TKE together, lived together,
ate and drank together truly learning and enjoying life. His family became my college family, treating me always as one of them. To his brothers I thank them. Again my sincere condolences and thanking Freddy for all the great memories.

My sincere condolences to Fred's family. I knew him well at Cathedral, his career as a stockbroker I am sorry I cannot give my condolences in person as I am in Florida for the season.

First time we met Fred he was sitting in his chair on his front porch with Baxter as he did almost everday. We live across the street from Fred and in my heart that´s where he will always be and I will still say "hi Fred" every time I pass by! We will miss him so much.
