Freddie was a classmate of mine at Murdock High School, Class of 1959. He was handsome and athletic and very popular with the ladies. He had the most beautiful blue eyes, so it was very sad that his eyesight deteriorated as he aged. I heard a lot about him in recent years from his sister, Gloria "Peewee" Kelley, when we got together at Class of '59 reunion lunches. They seemed to have such a tight bond.
