Not sure what to say?

Dear Bock Family, Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your wonderful husband/ father. We have great memories of him on the basketball court & off with our 3 sons. We remember his passion on bad calls that erupted into flying chairs & crutches. Freddy had an impact and touched so many lives at St. John Lutheran School. We know he is smiling from heaven seeing the legacy he left behind. Rest in peace. Joe Carolyn Joey Charlie & Michael DiMartino

Dear Shirley and family. So sorry as I just heard of Fred's death. My friendship with him goes back over 75 years. Many memories where our lives crossed paths. From early childhood birthday parties, Staten Island Lutheran Basketball League, dog walking in Clove Lakes Park, meeting at the doctor's office, and just enjoying a chat as Fred was sitting on his front steps and I was driving up the street to my home. If we didn't see each other for periods of time, we could always pick up where...

Dear Bock Family, On behalf of the Schmidts (Carl, Gail, Mark and Eric) we extend our deepest condolences. We all have great memories of Fred, whether from parties that Carl and Gail threw in the 1970s (I have seen photos of "Fred the Grouch" like Oscar from Sesame Street!) to St. John's basketball and baseball in the 1980s (1985 CYO baseball champs!) to softball in the 1990s and to other good times beyond. Fred was a stand-up person. Carl tells a story about getting into some "trouble"...

I´m so sorry to hear of Fred´s passing. He was always a gentleman and dedicated CYO umpire. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. With sincere sympathy, Judy Trancucci Former CYO Director

The entire Gage family sends their condolences to the Bock family whom we have had the great pleasure of knowing for many, many years. Fred was a true gentleman and family man throughout his life and will be missed by all that knew him in this mortal life.

To the Bock Family; My sincerest condolences on your loss. Fred was my basketball coach at SJL as well as in the softball league we played in. Fred gave his time willingly and gladly to SJL and sports. There are many memories I have of your Husband/Father. I greatly respected him, he was a fair, honest and principled man. He was passionate about sports and sometimes us kids would get a kick when he got mad about a call that went against us. He was so highly thought of and appreciated that...

My deepest sympathy to Shirley and family. Fred will be missed, I made my confirmation, my graduation from grammar school and high school with Fred. When I was young we would go to Freddy´s house and play games in his basement . Shirley, let God surround you with his love and grant you peace and comfort ,my love and prayers are with you all.
