Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of doing music for Fred at Saginaw rehab. one day I wheel him up so he could play my keyboard! one day I ask him of all the decades you have lived, what decade of music did you like the best. to my surprise he said the 80s and suggested that i do some! then there was the time the girls were planting flowers and he told them they needed to replant a certain way, they didn't and the flowers died! I found talking to him fasinating and always a pleasure! I hardly knew Fred...

The Boehringers were on my paper route back in the mid-80s. They both were very, very nice people who were always friendly and pleasant with me when I'd stop at their house to collect dues.

I still remember the day he told me Mrs. Boehringer died. It was very shocking and I was very sad for him. For whatever reason, it's one of those memories that has always stuck with me. I'd like to think he lived a long, happy life in spite of losing his wife prematurely.

His family is in...

What a great man and a pleasure to know. My family used his services for many years, he will be missed!

I met Fred through our shared interest in plants. He was a truly gentle soul, with a zest for life and the beauty in nature, and I came to treasure the times we met.
Although always a willing teacher, he was just as willing a student, enthousiastic about everything new or enlightening.
It was a blessing to be Fred's friend.

I am privileged to have worked for Mr. Boehringer at his greenhouse during my high school years in the mid-1960s. After fifty years, I still remember him as a fair, honest, patient, and very decent person who loved his family and church.
Many of the things he taught me such as patience and honesty I used quite a lot during my career in the engineering world, and more recently in volunteer work teaching young children about plants and gardening.
He was a great man!

A good friend and mentor, I always learned something from Fred and enjoyed our visits. He was an exceptional man and lived a wonderful faith filled life dedicated to others!

The reasons why I loved Fred were many, but two stand above all. Fred was the gentlest man I've ever had the privilege of knowing; and; Fred's love of our Lord was made manifest in everything he did. What can be said of any man that honors him more than 'in every way and every day, he lived his faith'?

Having been in the floral business under Kaye Batschke Williams for 21 years it would have been impossible not to know Fred. He was a soft spoken, kind man. I took a bonsai class from him. He always made things look so easy. He will be truly missed, but never forgotten. My sincerest condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Fritz's passing. He lived a long life and blessed us all with his presence. I was fortunate to have him make all of my beautiful wedding bouquets. That made my day extra special. He will be missed.
