Fred was a special man. He was my Dad's Scoutmaster in Troop 4 back in the 30's. Fred helped my Dad in his formative years which I know made him to want to succeed in life. This was so important post depression era. Fred even came to my Dad's funeral last year. He never stopped caring for "his Scouts". My Dad's love of Scouting led to mine. Fred, Thank you! "May the Great Scoutmaster of all great Scouts, be with us until we meet again"!

Fred Will surely be missed by one and asll in the scouting community. I am glad to say that I worked with Fred on many occasions. Always apprecitated his way of making sure all was done properly and accoording to the BSA standards to teach the youth only the Boy Scout way. He was truly one that followedf the Scout Oath and Law to the fullest. Buddy Crenshaw Assistant Council Commissioner
