Not sure what to say?

I love him, I had not seen him in a long time jut to find out he has been gone two years. He made me laugh - taught me about framing - Showed me about making Polenta in a Form, mostly - he kept me laughing. Elizabeth M Joyce (aka Chicki)

When I sent the photo of Fred on the high school track team it seemed to transmit without the message. Here 'tis. Fred and I carpooled for seveal years in high school across St. Louis from the now infamous suburb of Ferguson to the wealthy suburb of Ladue. Many, many hours. With his cheerful, friendly nature, he was great company. It's terrible to learn of his passing, but comforting to learn of his full life.

I greatly enjoyed talking to Fred about art and wished I had purchased a pretty painting by Mary Page Evans that he had in his gallery. He was friendly, informed, and very funny.

I am going to miss my neighbor and business associate and friend. I will always remember him walking to and from his house and gallery and our small talk.

With deepest sympathy on loss of your love one May it bring comfort you to know that he will return to the days of his youthful vigor as promised at Job 33:25.

Fred was truly a "they broke the mold" guy. I had the good fortune to have worked for him for 5 yrs ( at Frame Central) and it was a great experience for me in many ways...he was very good to me and was always so great to see him and chat when I went into Carspecken ~ I will miss him.

What a lovely man with an amazing sense of humor. A true gift to the art world in Wilmington. He will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences to his family.
