Since we heard this sad news,we have been thinking about those good old days (and hearing a trumpet in our heads), so wanted to share a memory with Fred's dear family. In 1955 or 56 some of us went to a Louis Armstrong concert. We had a lot of fun, but this thing went way beyond fun...it was HOURS and HOURS! Fred will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. I'm so glad he had the chance to meet my new family and that we all got to spend some quality time with him these past few years. He is at peace now and free of pain and suffering and that's what will get us all through these trying times. We love and will miss him dearly.

I'm so sorry to here of the passing of you dad,as gorwing up as a young man he was the best.I was so glad to be able to spend time with him in 2005. He will truly be missed by me and all of use. I wish I could be with you in this time of need. God SPEED Fred, God Speed
