Not sure what to say?

Fred was a great guy. I worked with him at Union Mutual - he came to NYC and owned the opportunity. He was a complete breath of fresh air. So terrible that heaven took him so early - he had such an opportunity to teach more people about gratitude, opportunity and life in general. So sad - still.

I knew Fred at Columbia, where his eternal good cheer and thoughtfulness made him a pleasure to be around. Even though we had been out of touch for many years, I am deeply saddened to learn today of his passing. He was a great friend, and it feels like a light went out of the world. And yet, knowing he touched so many heartens me. My condolences to Diane and family and friends. I am so sorry.

Diane,

I was fortunate to get to spend time with Fred a few times in the past year. Even though I was a new FOF, visits with him were a highlight, and I feel privileged to have known him. I heard many stories about you and Allison and I am thinking of you at this time.

Diane,

I am so so terribly saddened to hear this devastating news. I remember Fred so fondly.I was definitely FOF but was keenly aware I was one of many though he made each of us feel like his long lost best friend. It breaks my heart to know his truest bluest best friend, YOU, has to carry on without him.
I will carry you in my thoughts and prayers Diane, along with your daughter Allison.

Jane Alexander, FOF, Minneapolis MN

Diane and Allison,

I'm so very sad to hear this tragic news. Your husband/your father was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He loved you both so very much.

Deepest sympathy,

Stacy Schaus

Sorry for your loss. May the GOD of all comfort be with the family at this time of sorrow.

My thoughts are with you Diane and Allison.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
