Fred was my Ascension School classmate. He was always happy, smiling, fun and a joy to be around. I remember so many good times with he and Tom O'Boyle and a whole group of us. And to the family, I am sorry for your loss.

M\y condolences especially if is the Fred Deottore who put up with all us little kids who gave him three pennies for a dum dum or bazooka bubble gum in the fifties and sixties. At this time Ascension and Artmis Ward were our close by schools and maybe that was his delicatessan across from that now present Clark gasoline.

Fred (Butch) and I were grade school classmates and family friends. Our moms were lifelong friends in a club with 10 women. Our families spent many holidays together. Our class enjoyed the antics of Butch and his friend, Tom O'Boyle. Butch was hospitalized while in grade school and the whole class sent get well messages to him. His mom saved them and he gave them back to us at the last reunion. Such wonderful memories of a nice hard-working guy.
